Get your ACT together!
Longmont High School will be offering a free ACT practice test for all Juniors at 9:00am on Saturday, December 7th. This is an opportunity for students to practice the pacing of this nationally recognized assessment, as well as receive follow-up testing strategies along with personalized data to prepare for the April 23rd test. Juniors can register in the counseling office through November 15th.Timeline for ACT Prep
- Register for free practice test through November 15th
- Test at LHS on December 7th and receive results within a week
- Attend follow-up sessions in January to review results and build an action plan
- Implement the plan and prepare for success in April
Trojan Group Photo Day
This Wednesday is Trojan Group Photo Day. The following group photos will be taken on Wednesday, December 4th during the following times:
1st Block: 10:30 - Drama and Stage, Jazz Band and Color Guard. String and Symphonic Orchestra, Marching Band and Drumline
2nd Block: 11:30 - GSA, Latino Club, Arriba, Environmental Science, Debate
3rd Block: 1:10 - NAHS, FBLA, Orpheus, Bel Canto, and Chambers
4th Block: 2:00 - NHS, Interact, Leadership Forum, FCA, MESA, MBSA
Senior pictures and senior dedications are both due November 19th. Senior portraits will be accepted with a $10 late fee at that time. Senior portraits will not be accepted after December 19th. At this time, school photo I.D pictures will be used instead. Additional information about electronic senior photo and senior dedication submission can be found on the yearbook page.

CU Succeed Gold
The CU Succeed Gold Program offers Longmont High School students the opportunity to gain exposure to the college experience! Students enroll in University of Colorado Denver courses at a reduced tuition rate and are taught by qualified Longmont High School teachers through select Advanced Placement courses. At the end of the course, students receive a CU Denver transcript.

Need Student Accident Insurance?
Student accident insurance is available throughout the school year from K&K Insurance Group (underwritten by Nationwide Insurance Company). A variety of affordable plans are offered, with single premiums ranging from $25 to $198. Coverage may be purchased at any time during the school year by visiting http://www.studentinsurance-kk.com or by completing and mailing a paper form which is available in school offices.
